Comments:
review taken from "U2 One Tree Hill", run by Holger Raviol:
For the first time this tour U2 do the trick of taking over John Lennon's "Stand By Me" to surprise the audience as they will continue to do on the final dates in cities where they play multiple shows. The setlist is consequently mixed up with "MLK" and "Pride" as opener to get the show going. Soundwise this recording is good to very good. The instruments and vocals come through clearly but a drawback is that the high ends could sound a bit cleaner to reach the crispness necessary for a very good to excellent recording. Audience is audible but not too intrusive. There is an edit before "In God's Country" with the opening guitar notes of the song fading in. The bonus tracks on disc 2 are also a good to very good recording covering a selection of songs from one of the Madison Square Garden shows later that year.
