Comments:
review taken from "Justin's U2 CD-R Trading Page", run by Justin Cook:
This concert is awesome! Bono claims that it is the 99th concert of the tour and the band seems to be a bit geared up because they're in Las Vegas. However, the weather is very unlike a typical day in the desert, as everyone seems to harp about how cold it is. After "Dirty Old Town", Larry quips, "If this is meant to be the desert, how come it's so fuckin' cold?". Bono sings impromptu for the first minute of "New Year's Day" and even adds a few extra words to "With Or Without You" (he really just forgets where he is in the song and starts improvising to cover himself).

This bootleg was converted from cassette to CDR. The sound is extremely clear for having undergone such a transformation. There are only a few problems. The sound fades out at the end of "Angel Of Harlem" and consequently "When Love Comes To Town" is not picked up until the song has already begun (about 15-20 seconds are lost). There is a little bit of distortion on a few of the particularly deep low notes, but this occurs on only a few instances. The recording stopped before the end of "Love Is Blindness", so the bootleg fades out nicely during Edge's guitar solo. Even with these small problems, I highly recommend this bootleg. It is ultra-rare and the sound quality is terrific. As I am so fond of saying, if you're searching for rare bootlegs, you can't expect perfection.
