© "FLOM - A Guide To U2 Bootleg CDs" / Sascha Kremer:
Not the best performance I've heard by the band but it is still a great bootleg (although not indexed very well). It is interesting to hear the band do "Macarena" and get a harsh response (there's a first time for everything). A couple of short cracks are heard in the recording but are not worth worrying about. A slight echo can be heard in the vocals at times (due to the stadium configuration) but is not a great concern and even adds to the sound at times. This is a highly recommended recording; definitely worth the investment. Many have labeled this as the best audience PopMart bootleg available and I agree. I have heard POPDREAM BELIEVER and it doesn't compare to this. This bootleg brings back memories of the legendary ZOO TV audience bootleg from Stockholm in 1992 with ABBA (DANCING ZOO TV, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, SATELLITE FROM STOCKHOLM, etc.). It has the same sharpness and detail of the instruments and vocals, but however the range isn't as rich. Disc 2 (12) is the infamous Automatic Baby version, with Michael Stipe on lead vocals.
